By Virtue of a Warrant granted out of his Lordship’s Land Office
of this Province to James MacDonald of the county aforesaid
for one hundred Fifty acres of Land Bearing date by Renewment
.
I therefore Certify as Deputy Surveyor under his Excellency Samuel
Ogle, Esq. Governor of Maryland I have Carefully Laid out for & in
the Name of him the J. MacDonald all that Tract of Land Called the
Isle Of Arron [sic].
Beginning at the End of the Eight Course of a Tract of Land Belonging
to the said MacDonald Called Golloway, Running Thence South Six Degrees
East Seventy perches. Then South Eighty four Degrees West Seventy two
perches. Then North twenty Six Degrees West Sixty four perches. Then
North Twenty three Degrees East Sevemty five perches. Then by a Straight
Line to the Beginning. Containing & Now Laid out for Fifty acres of
Land to Be held of Conococheague Manor1.
